Nuclear war
1984
Partnership with Lu Gomes, with editorial direction by Ana Luísa Tarragó For publishing house Três. In 1984 I was sure the world was going to be destroyed by an all-out nuclear war. Not just me. There was an air of paranoia in the air. The year before, the world had watched in horror the film The Day After, about the catastrophic effect of a war with the use of atomic weapons. We have done in-depth research on the subject, covering all points of view - technical, military, mystical, cultural, etc. Among others, we interviewed journalists Paulo Francis and Newton Carlos. It was another very attractive and useful book, full of charts and maps. But I no longer agree with my world view of that time.
